“I have known Cath and her family of horsemen for as long as I can remember as I grew up with the knowledge of her family presence from a child. I, therefore, feel I am well qualified to testify this family’s wealth of knowledge base, commitment and passion to horses. Cath has ridden and worked alongside the best in the business of the horse world. I want to offer huge personal support for Cath and her team at The Quantock School of Riding, based on the beautiful Quantock Hills in West Somerset. Good Luck Cath and team!” Guy Williams.
The Quantock School of Riding is a family run equestrian centre based in a stunning location in West Somerset. On the outskirts of Crowcombe, it is set on a 50 acre farm which is a triple SI site (site of special scientific interest) and nestled at the bottom of the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The views surrounding the centre are breathtaking and we have direct access straight on to the Quantock Hills making it an idyllic riding experience, especially for riders who enjoy hacking.
Whether you are a complete novice or an advanced rider, The Quantock School of Riding can further your skills and knowledge base in a safe, fun and nurturing environment with BHS and internationally-trained instructors and coaches, making a positive difference to each and every person.
The QSR Equestrian Centre is fully insured; it is also authorised and licensed by the Local Authority. QSR Equestrian Centre is an approved BHS establishment and Pony Club Centre. In addition, The Quantock School of Riding Equestrian Centre is fully approved by the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS). ABRS approved establishments have horse and pony welfare, along with client safety and satisfaction, as priorities. All approved establishments are insured for public liability, comply with the latest health and safety legislation and are fully licensed with the Local Authority. To uphold the scheme’s standards and ensure quality teaching, unannounced inspections from the ABRS and The Pony Club are carried out annually.
